moving forward bit by bit.

We just recieved the minutes from a meeting that was held in Bandipur between our friend Depak and the people that will be "on the ground" overseeing the development of the Orphanage project. Depak is still in the process of securing land for the Orphanage, but everything else is coming together in terms of administration.
They are aiming towards a groundbreaking ceremony in May. After that as funds come in, construction of the orphanage will proceed.

Carmen and I feel both excited and anxious as we are working out ways to bring in funding. I have started the process of organizing an Art Show and Silent Auction here in Vancouver. We are inquiring about a website so that information will be more readily available.

I thought it's high time I posted some pictures of life in Bandipur. Here is Depak with the kids from the School they run, saying their morning prayer.
